As of Christmas Day, Audrey finally made the transition from crib to bed. This bed is actually Amy's old bed. Diana took it on as a project and repainted it, so now it is good as new. We call it her "Big Girl" bed so that she gets a sense of the additional responsibility of having a bed. She still has not grasped the "making the bed" concept, but she is better about staying in the bed when it is time for her to sleep, although there have been a few times where Diana has had to spend the night with her.
Audrey is so cute. Every morning around 7:00 she gets out of bed, leaves here room, and closes the door behind her. When I hear the door shut (which she does every morning, I don't know why), I know she is up and is about to show up either in the living room or our bedroom. There was one time where I heard the door shut at 5:30 am, and the next thing I knew she blinded us by turning on our bedroom light. Here way of saying "wake up!" I guess.
